Moving forward with eco friendly practices.

I source florals & foliage locally supporting small growers and our local economy when I can and to help reduce flower miles for the products.  (Some flowers are grown in South America or India and are flown here)! And our local growers can grow them here, locally in Canterbury and the wider New Zealand.

I do not use single use containers, instead using recycled glass jars and ceramic vessels. I also use paper wrapping as a standard practice and the use of cellophane is kept to a minimum.  I do not use any Floral Foam (which contains the same amount of plastic as 10 plastic shopping bags).  It is known to be toxic, non-biodegradable, non-recyclable and toxic to humans & animals. Made of phenol, formaldehyde polymers, surfactants, and wetting agents (carcinogenic chemicals).

I recycle 100% of my green waste, cardboard and soft plastics, reducing the amount of waste going to our landfill.
